Art Raz is a Ridgefield native, the third generation of farmers. From when he was young, he and his Dad worked on the family dairy farm, Raz Dairy, until his father’s retirement in 1996. Art had the entrepreneurial instinct and strategized with a friend to each open an excavation business but to use each other on jobs so they doubled their trucks and equipment without all the expense. This idea worked and their businesses grew and continue to grow today. Living and working in his community, he treats every customer as a friend and has an excellent reputation.
